But when I received the CD the one song I bought it for "All The Way," didn't even work. I was not happy with the product sent. It said it was in "like new" condition. It was scratched beyond repair. And the case itself was broken and cracked.
People who know virtually nothing about Celine calim that all she does is screech, but if you listen to this you will know that is not true and that she has a good voice. The Power of Love-a powerful, heartfelt, grows more dramatic 5/5If You Asked me To-a happpy, hopeful song 4/5Beauty and the Beast-a good story song, the duet partner is great 4/5Because You Loved Me-a powerful song about thanking someone who was there for you 5/5T's All Coming Back To Me Now-a truly amazing song, like nothing you're ever heard, dramatic instrumentation and wonderful vocals, grips at your heart 5/5Love Can Move MOuntains-an uplifting song, not my favorite 3/5To Love You More-a sad song about wanting love 4/5My Heart Will Go On-a great ballad delivered with amzing talent, from Titanic 4.5/5I'm Your Angel-a great duet, puts you in a romantic mood 4.5/5That's The Way It Is-an inspiring song done in a pop style, very good with a nice chorus 5/5All THe Way-a fake duet, very nice and it has a classic style to it 4/5I Want You To Need Me-a great song, full of passion 4/5To conclude, this cd is amazing and well worth your purchase, has some of the best ballads ever.
With nine previous hit tracks and seven new songs, the album is a decent summary of the first half of Dion's career. There are two unusual things about this record. Fans who own her previous albums may want to note that the versions here are those heard on the airwaves, not the previous album versions, so some parts of songs (such as the bridge in 'It's All Coming Back to Me Now') are missing.Of the seven new songs, some stand out. During the mid- to late-1990s, there seemed to be one female voice dominating the airwaves: Celine Dion. The second thing I find strange about the CD is the plethora of new songs. Not quite. The first is its lack of material from Celine's first English-language album, "Unison". 'To Love You More', which is a spectacular track but didn't fare too well in the US as a single, is included as well.
However, the last few tracks are predictable; 'Then You Look at Me', 'I Want You to Need Me' and 'Live for the One I Love' are all power ballads.Overall, the CD has lasted the test of time as it is still a decent collection of music. Before her short hiatus from music at the beginning of the millennium, Dion released "All the Way.A Decade of Song" as a pseudo-greatest hits collection. 'That's the Way It Is' was a dance-like hit for Dion in 1999, while 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' and 'All the Way' are outstanding covers, the latter engineered to be a duet with the late Frank Sinatra. 'Where Does My Heart Beat Now' was a hit for the singer, and the fact that it's missing is a bit sad. It's not unusual for artists to include one or two new tunes on a retrospective disk (such as a greatest hits collection), but nearly half of the CD is filled with new material.Certainly, Dion's biggest hits are included: 'The Power of Love', 'My Heart Will Go On', and 'Because You Loved Me' are all here. Dion's greatest hits up to that point. But it is a pleasant way to pass an afternoon.
Prompt delivery, product in excellent condition and priced very low. I am quite happy.
They are love songs that you can relate to, as far as loving your man. Celine Dion has an amazing voice. Celine Dion is truly gifted with a beautiful voice and songs that can move mountains. Every song on this CD can touch the heart and soul. There are several cuts on the CD that I just love. I am a fan of her music. I bought several of her CD's and would highly recommend them to any person that like love songs.Mildred Peebles
